  1. TO ENTER: MARVEL MYSTERY OIL CUSTOM BIKE ON-LINE SWEEPSTAKES ("Sweepstakes") starts on 2/6/08 at 12:00 A.M., ET and ends on 9/15/08 at 11:59:59 P.M., ET. ("Sweepstakes Period"). To enter: Go to: www.marvelmysteryoil.com and follow the instructions to submit your on-line entry. Entries must be received by 11:59:59 P.M., ET on 9/15/08. All entries become property of Marvel Oil Company ("Sponsor") and will not be returned. Sponsor is not responsible for incomplete, lost, damaged, stolen, misdirected, late, illegible, or mutilated entries or mail. Limit: One (1) entry per person, regardless of e-mail address used, throughout the Sweepstakes Period.
  2. GRAND PRIZE RANDOM DRAWING/FIRST PRIZE AWARDS: (a) GRAND PRIZE DRAWING: On or about 9/19/08, the name of the potential Grand Prize Winner will be selected in a random drawing conducted by Mercury Promotions & Fulfillment ("Mercury”), an independent judging agency, from among all the eligible entries received. The Potential Grand Prize Winner will be notified by phone or mail on or about 9/26/08 and will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Compliance (including his/her Social Security Number for tax reporting purposes) and a Liability/Publicity Release, as allowed by law, by the return date specified in the prize notification letter, or s/he will be disqualified from the Sweepstakes and, time allowing, an alternate potential Grand Prize Winner will be selected. The Winner will be issued a Form 1099 as required by law. (B) FIRST PRIZE AWARDS: The entrant of each one hundredth eligible entry, e.g. beginning with the 100th eligible entry, 200th eligible entry, 300th eligible entry, etc. and ending with the 50,000th eligible entry will receive as a First Prize Award a Marvel Oil T-shirt (Men's XL). Maximum number of First Prize Awards: 500.
  3. PRIZES & ODDS OF WINNING: GRAND PRIZE (1): The Grand Prize ("Prize") consists of both a 2008 custom motorcycle ("Motorcycle") and a trip for two (2) to Las Vegas, NV, as both are further described herein. (A) Motorcycle: A Motorcycle customized with logos from the Marvel Oil Company. (ARV: $17,500). Winner has sole responsibility for any re-touches or repairs to the Motorcycle's customized features. Illustrations, images and depictions of Motorcycle are for promotional purposes only, and actual Motorcycle received by Winner may differ. All other costs and expenses, including licensing, registration & title fees; delivery charges; collision & liability insurance; emission inspection charges; options/upgrade packages; maintenance and repair; federal, state, and local income taxes; sales and/or use taxes and fees; etc., are the sole responsibility of the Winner. SPONSOR MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, REGARDING THE VEHICLE, INCLUDING ITS CUSTOMIZATION, EXCEPT THOSE CONTAINED IN THE STANDARD MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY ACCOMPANYING THE VEHICLE.Winner must provide valid driver's license with motorcycle endorsement and proof of insurance upon delivery of Motorcycle and Winner must take delivery of Motorcycle in Las Vegas, NV on 11/04/08 at a site to be determined by the Sponsor, or the entire Grand Prize will be forfeited in its entirety, and Sponsor shall have no further responsibility to Winner. If, for any reason whatsoever, Winner should decide not to, or fails to, accept the Motorcycle as stated above, the Prize will be forfeited in its entirety and Sponsor shall have no further responsibility to Winner. (B) Trip to Las Vegas, NV: The trip to Las Vegas, NV consists of a trip for two (2) persons to Las Vegas, NV from 11/04/08 -11/07/08; Round-trip coach airfare for two persons from major airport nearest Winner's residence to Las Vegas International Airport; 4 days/3 nights hotel accommodations (one (1) standard room/double occupancy); two (2) tickets to the SEMA® show; and One Hundred Dollars ($100) spending money ("Trip"). All Trip reservations and accommodations will be arranged by Sponsor. If Winner resides within 250 miles of Las Vegas, NV, Winner will receive Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($250) in lieu of round - trip airfare for two. (ARV: $2,500). Total ARV: $20,000. All expenses not specified above, including, but not limited to meals, beverages, mini-bar, souvenirs, gratuities, insurance, personal services, etc., are solely the responsibility of the Winner. Travel companion may not be a minor unless Winner is his/her parent/legal guardian or spouse. The Winner and his/her travel companion must possess photo identification documents required for travel and must travel on same itinerary. Sponsor has no liability if the SEMA show is cancelled or postponed for reasons beyond the control of Sponsor. FIRST PRIZE AWARD (500 maximum: As stated in Rule 2 above, the First Prize Award consists of a Marvel Oil T-shirt (Men's XL). ARV: $10.00 each: Neither the Grand Prize nor the First Prize Award is redeemable for cash; nor are they transferable or substitutable except by Sponsor with a prize of equal or greater value. All federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the Winner. Odds of winning the Grand Prize or First Prize Award depend on number of eligible entries received.
  4. ELIGIBILITY: Open to all legal residents of the 50 United States or District of Columbia, 21 or older at time of entry, except officers, directors, and employees (and members of their household or immediate family, i.e., parents, children, spouse and/or siblings and persons residing in such immediate family members' household) of Sponsor; its parent company; its subsidiaries, affiliates, distributors, sales representatives, advertising and promotion agencies, including Mercury, and/or their affiliates, assigns or representatives; or any other individuals or entities associated with the development, administration, promotion, execution of, or supply to this Sweepstakes (hereinafter referred to as "Sponsor & Others").
  5. INTERNET: Sponsor & Others are not responsible for interrupted or unavailable network server or other connections; for miscommunications; failed telephone or computer transmissions; for jumbled, scrambled or misdirected entries or transmissions; for phone, electrical, network, computer hardware or software or program malfunctions, failures or difficulties; for other errors, omissions, interruptions, or deletions of any kind, whether human, mechanical or electronic; or for any damage to any person's computer related to participating in the promotion. Sponsor & Others are not responsible for illegible, unintelligible, late, lost or stolen entries; for incorrect or inaccurate entry information, whether caused by Internet users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes; or for any technical or human errors which may occur in the processing of any entries in this Sweepstakes. Persons found tampering with or abusing any aspect of this Sweepstakes, as solely determined by Sponsor, will be disqualified and may be subject to prosecution. Any person attempting to enter using multiple e-mail addresses, multiple identities or any other device or artifice to enter multiple times or to interfere with the proper play of this Sweepstakes will be disqualified from participation in the Sweepstakes. If in the judgment of Sponsor, the Sweepstakes is compromised by virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes beyond the control of Sponsor, which corrupts the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to discontinue, suspend or terminate the Sweepstakes. In the event of any such discontinuation, suspension or termination, the winner of any Prize not yet won will be determined from among all eligible entries received to date, in a random drawing to be conducted following the discontinuation, suspension or termination. Any personally identifiable information collected during an entrant's participation in this promotion will be collected by Sponsorand used by Sponsor, its affiliates, agents and marketers for purposes of the proper administration and fulfillment of the Sweepstakes as described in these Official Rules and in accordance with Sponsor's Privacy Policy as stated at http://www.turtlewax.com/main.taf?p=0,6 and by Sponsor for communication of product and promotional news. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF the Sweepstakes IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES OR OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON(S) RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ATTEMPT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of a Winner based on an e-mail address, the winning entry will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.

RELEASE: Sponsor & Others are not responsible for, whether directly or indirectly, any liability in connection with any injuries, damages or losses of any kind, whether to property or person, including death, arising out of the acceptance, enjoyment, use and/or misuse of any Prize and/or participation in this Sweepstakes, and they will be held harmless against any such claims of liability arising directly or indirectly from the acceptance or use/misuse of the Grand Prize, travel, overnight accommodations; and/or attendance at and participation in Sweepstakes-related events, including activities that are not sponsored or provided by Sponsor.
  7. GENERAL: By entering the Sweepstakes, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules. By accepting Prize, Winner grants Sponsor the right to use his/her individual name, address, photograph, and likeness for advertising, publicity & promotion purposes and for any other such purposes as Sponsor so determines, in any and all media worldwide without limitation, without further compensation, permission or notice, except where prohibited by law. Issues concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules shall be governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. All disputes arising out of or connected with this promotion will be resolved individually, and without resort to class action, exclusively by the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan (Southern Division) of the appropriate Michigan State Court located in Macomb County, Michigan. Should there be a conflict between the laws of the State of Michigan and any other laws, the conflict will be resolved in favor of the laws of the State of Michigan, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules of any other jurisdiction. All judgments or awards shall be limited to actual incurred out-of-pocket expenses (excluding attorneys' fees) associated with participation in this Promotion and shall not include any indirect, punitive, incidental and/or consequential damages.
